Karen Bandemer

About Karen Bandemer

Karen was born and raised in Torrington, Wyoming. She began working at -her family-owned business at an early age learning the ins and outs of a retail business. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, Karen returned to Torrington. She was involved in the everyday management of the retail business until its sale in 2005. Karen obtained her real estate license in 2005 and teamed up with her husband in Diamond B Realty. Karen and her husband Russ have had the pleasure of working on Real Estate projects and Right of Way projects in Wyoming, New Mexico, North Dakota and Texas. These opportunities provided valuable experience working and negotiating with many people of diverse backgrounds from more than 36 states and some foreign countries.

Karen has been involved in the community and state for many years. She served on the Goshen County Hospital Board and The Goshen County Nursing Home Board for many years. She was also appointed by the Governor to serve on the Wyoming Transportation Commission -representing Goshen, Platte and Laramie Counties. She was the first woman to serve as chairman of the commission. “These commitments provided me with lifelong lessons in working with people, serving our community and state helping to make them better places to live.”
